50 cr/hour. Taxes are separate, if your city has them. 5 lots. Must be a Master Musician/Dancer/Chef to place it or have someone /transferstructure it to you. You can drop the skill later and still keep ownership of it, as long as you never have to re-deed it.

Those are all the questions I can think of that everyone asks.

Sorry if this has been asked before. How much does it cost to maintain a cantina in a player city? I can place one in my city now. But I want to know what the maintenance cost is, or is it covered by my taxes to the city?

How about this question?? Are there any benefits from owning a cantina in a player city?? You get any xp, or creds, or....???? They are hugely expensive to buy and maintain.........

Thanks to any constructive answers in advance!

The experience you get is the fun of running your own cantina! And dealing with city officials and customers, and the Nevada Gaming Commision, etc.

It's quite expensive to just drop the cash and start up a cantina, you pay for the deed, pay for the maintenance, pay for the furniture, take minimum 2 hours placing the furniture, pay for a vendor (yours or someone else's) pay for drinks and food to put on the vendor, pay prize money for events hosted, the list goes on.

I got a lot of help from everyone in town from the Mayor all the way down to the other local merchants and on to the local musicians. Much of my furniture was donated, the deed was donated to me, the maintenance was paid by a wealthy citizen for almost 10 months in advance, and that added up to almost 1 million credits at the time I set mine down. I spent my own wealth for the rest, vendors, drinks, advertising, events, hired bands, and all the things that make a cantina.

Overall, I've had the most fun running this cantina in game; almost equal to being in our large band back at launch. Now if I can just get a 15 member band to appear regularly

If the city's mayor is of the appropriate level to register the city on the map, the city's cantina will also appear on the Planetary Map listings. And that's where players expect to be able to get entertainer healing, is in cantinas. Theaters don't work very well, and no one would think to go into a house...though that works almost as well, functionally, as a cantina. Basically...it's expected. Personally, for a player city, I prefer playing in the med center! A player city med center has the same heal-over-time fuction of an NPC one, and because it's a player structure, you can heal fatigue and wounds, and buff, in there.

Since the med center has the heal-over-time function for wounds, I'm assuming the player cantina does the same thing that NPC ones do...heal 1 BF per 10 minutes (I think).
