This could be related to the /changeband bug.

It always happens when a grouped musician, usually AFK, runs out of action and someone in the band does a /changeband to another song, your character will start playing but you cannot flourish. About a month ago you would get a message that you cannot flourish while not playing music, but one of the patches removed that message when you have this bug.

The solution is simple, you have to move your character a few steps and then you can start playing music again and you can flourish as normal.

Hope this helps you. And I agree that we need different sounds for the various instruments, but if you listen carefully then there are subtle differences, but they are just minor and most probably don't notice them

Not many problems but just a few comments about the instruments andmacros.

I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem but my macro stopped working (actually my flourishes stopped working) last night I was wondering if anyone had this problem.

Also, lol Devs, can you make different sounds for the fanfar, kloo horn, and traz? It would add more variety.

I'd only add that while it's unlikely the devs will remix our current songs to distinguish between the traf/fanfar/slitherhorn, they have promised more instruments and sounds in the future. And a batch of new songs is in production -- but I have no idea how long they'll take to get here. It's going to be a while, I suspect.
