Musician Archive

The Musician profession is a very rewarding one, offering new excitements every time you learn a new song or gain access to a new instrument. However, once a Musician gains the “Master” title, their role in the game becomes an idle one. Their desire to advance seizes because further advancement is not possible. My desire is that the developers implement new songs to the Musician skill tree, as well as new instruments, if not in a patch, in the Space Expansion.

I’ll leave the developers to decide how a character would achieve these songs. However, I was thinking there could be tertiary skill trees. For example, you have Novice Entertainer. Then there is Novice Dancer and Novice Musician branching off of that, and two other professions branching off of each of those. These new professions would offer new dances for dancers, and new instruments and songs for musicians.

Please add some new songs, soon. Life as a Musician has become very idle for me. I’m already ridiculously rich for someone who doesn’t have expenses (besides cantina, house, and harvester maintenance). When I know that new songs and instruments are coming, my activities in the game will become more frequent.

I would like to see some music quests that reward you with a new song. Perhapsa series of deliveries or seeking out a remote NPC (just keep it non-combat heavy).
