Thread: holiday music?
I think that's the kind of thing that should've been considered and worked on by the developers months and months ago, but not something they could pull off on the fly. It's aterrific idea, but one that might have to wait until next year. It seems unlikely that they'd be able to do anything in 11 days that would sound any better than playing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" on a recorder.
Cheers to you for thinking of it, though. ![]()
i was thinking the same thing. although, it will be tough to pull off on such short notice. i just prefer to play my ommni box or mandoviol while singing christmas tunes : ) my fave being santa baby in a cute red slipdress and white boots
happy holidays!

Hmmm
While I would love a few holiday tunes certainly.
It being so near the holidays I think I'd rather they take that time and give us some tunes to get us thru a few more months.
We need at least 10-12 new songs.... more if possible.
I'd also like to see 3 flo options for each flo. One bass heavy, one treble heavy, and one normal.
Holiday stuff is nice but we need our basic portfolio enhanced first. Gigs are sooo repetitive.
And players know it and are tired of our tunes.
Unless the devs are keeping a secret from me, I'm afraid we won't see any holiday music this holiday season. Like Blackrock, I'm just hoping we geta batch of new songs sooner rather than later. The devs keep telling me a batch of new songs is indeed in production, but they keep declining to provide a timetable. <sigh>
That said, I don't think everyone has heard our entire repertoire. I played a gig two nights ago, and repeatedly I heard audience members say they hadn't heard this or that combo before. I won't try to do the math, but the number of permutations of song and instrument must be rather large. I for one have never tried Rock or Jazz with four mandos, or Ceremonial with only trazzes and chid horns, or SW3 or SW1 with four nalargons. And, call me crazy, but I still just love playing Virtuoso with drums and chid horn, or drums, chid horn and nalargon, or traz solo with rhythm backing.
