Perhaps you wouldn't get any cash for people that came in while you were afk? Of course, there's still those people that leave afk status off.

Hey, not sure if this suggestion has come up yet, but a Musician has got to be able to make more money!

Here's how:

If a Musician or Dancer is skill animating in a cantina or hotel, a big burly NPC bouncer appears at the door of the cantina. If a player wishes to go in and reduce their mind wounds or battle fatigue they need to pay a "cover fee" at the door. The fee goes into a pool and a calculated payout is shared among the entertainers that were skill animating at the time the cover fee was paid. That way those too ignorant or cheap to tip are at least contributing to the entertainers expenses in some way.

What do you think?

I think it's a great idea.

Now get any one of the Devs to give a gubber's rear-endabout even seeing great suggestions like this

Best of luck to you.

But seriously, this idea's been around a bit, and we've discussed it. Nothing much has come our way for quite awhile - so this, among many other great ideas, have sort of just gone nowhere. It's so sad I'm going to go cry for awhile.

Couple of issues.

One, this would be a fabulous way to further encourage AFK play. Now they'll get paid for every client walking in the door, why NOT set up a macrotainer every time they log out, it's free money!

Second, we players already have this capability on our private cantinas. We can set a door fee anytime we want. So, in a sense, we already do have this, and I'm sure that's what the devs would tell you if you asked for this capability.
