This thought came to me while strumming on the guitar: What if lets say every hour or so you have to tune your instrument? This could be done with or without tools, but would basically create a hamper for afkers. You would now have to be at your computer atleast every hour to tune your instrument or you can't play. Also do not create a system command for this action. I'm still trying to think of a way to do this for dancers, any ideas?

Awesome! Orjustmade it so that if you don't tune your instrument, the songs sound horrible, and you get very little XP. 1XP per tip sounds good. *evil laugh*

Well, I would say yes to the very little experience idea, but not the songs sounding horrible idea. Only because there are so many afk'ers in there that already don't even have a problem with playing more than one song at a time, all of the groups would just sound horrible on a regular basis and I don't need my ears subjected to that. Because, let's face it, the people that afk don't actually care about playing or sounding good. They're only in it for the experience.

in addition, different sound would take the devs more work, and hell, we havent gotten one new song yet, if we expect additions to all of the current ones, it will take years :/

Well, while I agree that this probably won't happen due to the 'new song' aspect of it, I don't see a problem with the music sounding bad part of things. The thing being that not *all* groups will sound bad, only those with AFKers. Presumably if you're playing a song and one of your bandmates goes afk and starts sounding horrible, they quickly get kicked from the group. They may be in it for the experience, but they won't get much if they're constantly being kicked from groups.

This is a great idea!
kind of like the survey thing stops people from leaving it going forever but now we have to wait to start and stop
As long as it keeps the AFKers pissed off i'm for it, they aren't really there anyway.

I like this too, though I'm sure people would find AFK ways to circumvent it, as they already have with sampling and surveying.
Personally, I'd like to see the devs ditch the recursive macro. Even then, though, they'd have to police the game for use of third-party macros, and they don't seem to have the resources to do that.
