Thread: Do droids help buffs?

Well, today I tried giving someone a mind buff, and I had my droid and him in my group, I started playing and told the droid to start doing the affects, and after I was done with the buff, it seemed lower than normally! (nowhere close to the 1000 stats). Now I have noticed that my buff numbers are never constant, and I think there is something I don't know about. Is there a max number for each person that a buff can reach? Or do droids only hurt the buff?

"Wait, I thought stormtrooper armor was some of the best you could get?" -- "It was."
"Wasn't the Spraystick a weapon that fired nets?" -- "Yeah."
"Oh...and which episode was it where doctors would supercharge people so they could take on armies by themselves?" -- "That never happened..."
"This game is called Star Wars: Galaxies, right?" -- "Yeah." -- "Ok, just checking."

Entertainer buffs are figured by the amount of mind that a player has. The amount of mind enhancement skill is the percentage of their mind that you will add. So, with a Master Musician (no tapes or anything) you will double people's stats, so someone with 1000 focus and willpower will end up with 2000 focus and willpower. If you're at 4/x/x/x Music, you'll have 75 Musical mind enhancement so the same person could be buffed up to 1750 focus and willpower.

There have been reports of the new Entertainer droids causing bugs in buffs, but I have not had a problem with it.
