Thread: Are they censoring the Devs now too?

Awhile back, I posted about a message from JustG where he stated that all the AFK macroing that was happening was not what the Devs intended.
He wrote:
...we really want to stop the hologrind. We feel that AFK macroers are not healthy for the game. We want it to stop as soon as we can. And yes, we are aware that we are the ones that put the system in place. This was not what we intended, but things have evolved to this point.

Now, that post is gone. Does this mean that SOE has officially changed its views about AFK macroing? Have they decided that it was what they intended and they meant for things to evolve to this point? In light of the badge being given to the buffbot, the only thing I can assume is that they now feel that AFK macroers are healthy for the game and they want to encourage them to continue going for as long as they can.

Look at it this way:
* BuffBots do not demand new entertainer content in the game.
* BuffBots do not complain about the lack contend for entertainers.
* BuffBots do not care about the game interface, or the cantina designs.
* BuffBots do not care for entertainers having a role in the GCW.
* Yes BufBots still pay for having an account open.
To SoE this has to be the perfect costumer. As long as they can keep making the combat character who have the BuffBot happy with combat rebalance, and PvP opportunities and missions that can be don in 15 min to earn 30k, the BuffBot account will remain open as well, and no development time have to be dedicated to the entertainer play style.
Mean while SoE can advertise about the "unique new play style" they have, and combat classes wound complain about anyone taking thair credit or not being able to find an entertainer.
How are AFK entertainers and BuffBots bad for them?

Thanks for finding it, I tried searching for JustG posts containing the words "hologrind" and "macroers" before I posted this, but for some reason that post didn't show up. I was going to reference it in another forum where someone made the claim that there has been no statement from the devs against using the in-game macros for long-term AFK "play." When I couldn't find it I was really confused as to whether or not they were officially changing their stance on the AFK macroing.

I was totally panicked myself, I wouldn't have posted this thread unless I was absolutely sure that the post was gone, but none of my searches turned anything up. (And I got tired of the silly screen that pops up every other seach now telling you that there are too many searches in progress, try again later.) I'm really glad that the post turned up.
