Thread: Volunteers to test the combat revamp sandbox?

Dear fellow Musicians,
Thunderheart has asked us Correspondents to find five members of our forums who would be interested in testing the combat revamp in a special "sandbox" server.My preference would be that youexpress your interest via private message to me rather than posting publicly, since I fear I will get more volunteers than we have room for, but you are also free to express your interest here publicly if you wish.
I dearly hope there are exactly five of you who are interested in this, because I don't at all relish the prospect of picking among you! For what it's worth, the entertainer Correspondents will be coordinating so that we don't all pick the same people, thus ensuring that each entertainer Correspondent submits five unique names.
As for precisely what we'll be testing, we don't have a lot of details yet. Presumably the devs want people with some interest in the combat side of the game, and thus in our combat-support role (buffing, healing). Presumably they'd also like people who can express themselves clearly in writing. If I learn more details, I'll pass them along.

I'd like to see how the Dev team improvesour game in the revamp. I hope it's as great an improvement as other professions get,who also desperately need some work and enhancementof the Star Wars Galaxies experience.
I'd be happy to test some combat-related code, too - I have combat experience in the game. TKM, specifically.

Hmmm I would be up for this as well. I've always enjoyed testing for games.

Count me in. I've been here way too long (god... my 1 year is comin up), and read my profile. I'm curious to see how devs plan to address musicians in this (if at all). Maybe we will get acrobat!

I'd think it would be a better idea to apply to which ever profession you spend/spent the most time doing.
On a side note, what are riflemen/tka doing since they don't have a correspondant?

Hmm, I dunno what the Riflemen/TKA are doing. I'll poke around and see what I can find out.

Ah, I'm glad they're hand-picking people for this!
The last thing we need is another TC2 influx of "non-testers" to put it nicely...

Even if I don't get picked I'm happy in knowing dedicated people are going to be working on this.
Also, might you consider doing what Gunman21 is doing?
Having a list of things like that for people to submit (or resubmit if they already have) might help in the selection.
