Hi people... i would need some help from the composers...

first a little background why i am musician/dancer/entertainer....

i play now SWG for a few month since februar to be exact... all the times a fighter... but i got bored... lost my fun in PvP and more things related to fighting... i started an entertainer on eclipse.... i love it to be honest... i enjoy playing that char every minute of it...

my RL relations to music and dancing are as followed... go out... get drunk.... dance and sing at parties where you cant hear my voice

so i am not a musician in RL nothing related to it... but

we got this big event on eclipse going... a big pvp event... and i really would like to play the imperial march there on the field.... it would give it a nice touch as its a big fighting event based on RP... so it would fit really nice in it... after i did a forum search i wasnt able to find a topic with a song which would sound like the imperial march as you know it from the movie... but starwars3 definitly has some parts which would fit in here...

so... can someone help me maybe to get more starwarsy feeling into that event... ofc i would pay you credit for doing so and everyone would know its not from my feather...

thanks in advance....

If you experiment with the flourishes in Star Wars 3, you'll find that a few really highlight the main Imperial march theme. If you make those a centerpiece of your performance, it'll sound pretty Imperial. It helps also to get some grey Imperial officers' uniforms for the band, or at least gray or dark suits. Of course, an Overt Imp in Stormtrooper armor wouldn't hurt either.

Yeah, Flourishes 3 and 4 on the Chidinkalu/Kloo Horn are almost exact copies from the march. You can try experimenting with those two and other flourishes as NJ said.

Personally, I took the original Imperial March and remixed it into a jazzy swing that I can play on the nalargon or chidinkalu horn. What I did is repeat Flourish 3 twice, fill in some space with other flourishes that flow nicely, and then repeat Flourish 4 twice after a basic ref. What do I call it?

The Imperial Swing.

its just too bad your group is the only one going to hear the music.
