Amazing how many different scores we can write with only 8 unique flourishs. Thought it would be fun to see what other people have come up with.

To start it off I've posted my favorite that I've written hoping others will be wiling to share their professional secrets.as well.

This works well will all the 2nd Tier Musician Songs. Haven't tried it on the lower tier ones cause I never play them...LOL

Virtuoso only with Bandfill droid:

/bandflo 1;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 3;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 4;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 6;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 1;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 6;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 5;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 5

That's a little drum break

and for the drum climax of the song

/bandflo 2;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 7;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 2;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 7;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 2;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 7;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 8;

/pause 5;

/bandflo 8

Get a chid up on that and you should be good to go as long as you have your bandflo's off and you are actually playing decent flourishes in succession.

This is a song I wrote for my guildmate dancer. She has also written a routine to go with it that is very beautiful to watch. I call the song Beauty and the Beast. The following are aliases for all the pieces.

BAndB /startband waltz; /pause 12; /waltz1; /pause 20; /waltz1; /pause 30; /waltz2; /pause 35; /bandflo 7; /pause 10; /waltz3; /pause 25; /waltz1; /pause 20; /waltz1; /pause 20; /bandflo 8; /pause 10; /waltz1; /pause 25; /waltz2; /pause 20; /bandflo 8; /pause 5; /flo 2; /pause 4; /bandflo 8; /pause 5; /flo 2; /pause 4; /bandflo 8; /pause 5; /flo 2; /pause 10; /waltz3; /pause 20; /waltz1; /pause 25; /stopband;
waltz1 /flo 2; /pause 4; /flo 3; /pause 4; /flo 6; /pause 4; /flo 3;
waltz2 /flo 2; /pause 4; /flo 4; /pause 4; /flo 3; /pause 4; /flo 5;
waltz3 /bandflo 7; /pause 4; /bandflo 5; /pause 4; /bandflo 1;

Well I don't have edit yet. The above is three aliases, it also works as macros of course. I have a droid that plays the bandfill so the bandflo in the one riff helps differentiate the characters "singing" at the moment.

This one right here was one I've been working on recently. Still need to add a few more of the instruments to it and adjust some of the flourishes. Also going to try and work that little macro bit in to move all the aliase spam over to a different chat window.

Wow...WTG Elwyn and Dark. Can't wait to give them a try....c'ept I'll have to remember how to do alias macros again Elwyn...LOL...that's knowledge that's fallen off the back of the shelf for me =)

And Dark....DANG...that's an amazing amount of work you've done, how long you been a musician?

HehI really need edit I always think of something else. I'm working with /changemusic now. You can get a fairly smooth tranisition with the right timing. A real song that is built from SW1 and SW3 or SW3 and Jazz is what I'm striving for. Actually having more than 9 sounds to work with!

You can write your macros in a windows notepad or any text editor, then copy and paste in SWG. Click options (7th from left or top depending how you have it on your screen) then click controls, at bottom of that window is button for "keymap". Click that, then click the chat tab. scroll down till you see chat edit copy, chat edit paste, chat edit cut and you can bind your keys how you wish. I use CTRL-INSERT to paste. I can't seem to be able to cut or copy then paste anything in game, only copy from windows and paste in game which is fine.

Sooo...edit your macro in text file, regular windows copy the text you want, jump back to SWG, open macro or make new one and paste.

And thanks again to all who've posted their scores here. I've had hella fun w/ them

Sorry I meant the ability to edit posts so I didn't have to add additional thoughts in a second post. Thanks for the info though!
