Thread: Something heavy!
They REALLy need to allow musicians the option of composing their own songs using a process similar to making firework packages only inserting notes instead of fireworks. That would jam. =)
Given the sound of starwars1 when everyone's doing their own thing, I can only shudder to think about what a heavy song would sound like that way.

See?

even though i love starwars 1 with the mand, i have to chime in on this one
after watching the special Building an Empire, dcumentary on the making of episodes 4-6, lucas commented on the music of star wars in the disco era... he said he wanted to do something totally out of synch with the times and went almost 100% orchestra, the only exceptions were the cantina in episode 4 with all orcestra insturments run through a synthesizer to give them an electric feel and episode 6 in jaba's palace, with the original doing the same, but the special addition concentrating more to syntesized keyboards but still holding true to having orcestra in the background.
going by that, even the sound of starwars 1 is a bit out of the 'star wars' feel with the mand with the guitar and virtuoso is off with an electric piano.
i think a hard rock song would push the entertainer aspect further from star wars than we need.
This game is so totally off continuity now, does it really matter? ![]()
By the way, I watched that special too...it was pretty cool. I am holding out hope that George will let EP3 be as Dark as I think it should be. Hehe, if there is ever a way we will get to watch Jedi destroyed by the dozens, then that film should be a must watch ![]()
