Friendly piece of advice: Don't play a character/profession you don't enjoy. It just makes you hate that profession and the game in general.
If you don't enjoy the idea of spending many, many hours in a cantina socializing, don't play an entertainer. Even for your guild. Suggest to them that they instead recruit somebody who does enjoy it.

You're not making a buff bot, are you? Because if you are, you're more likely to get an answer in ANY of the other forums on these boards... :-)
Or maybe your city is just looking at placing a cantina, in which case I'm sure you can find help here...

Well, basically, music grinding macros are fairly simply just put in a flourish or two, pause for 5-8 seconds, and repeat.
But, this does raise a question that I just don't ever understand. Why do people buy accounts for guild alts with entertainer skills instead of actively trying to recruit a core group of entertainers into their guilds?

Because there are never musicians or dancers that are able to buff when u need one. And if there is one on their normally afk. Its all about covenience for us. Believe me, i wish we didn't have to.

I'm sorry about derailing your thread. But, what I was trying to point out...for example, my guild has a lot of entertainers in it, but it's not an entertainer only guild. The people who ran this guild realized the importance of respecting and recruiting entertainers. I wasn't there at the very beginning of this guild, or its roots in a former guild. However, what I'm saying is that, whoever it was, whatever group of people it was that began this guild and realized this importance, cultivated an environment where entertainers were welcome and wanted to join this guild. Consequently, members of this guild rarely have problems finding a mind buff.

I'm working on novice musican and only getting 10 musican xp each time and only 1 flash of EH exp each time. It seemed like before when I was working on my 4th box I was getting 30ish musican xp and 2 things of EH xp. If anyone could help I would appreciate it, thx.

Make sure you flourish twice within 10 secs. That should get you max xp.
Also make sure you use the best instrument you can.
Xp is also dependent on how many people are listening to you at the time.

Thats all good and well Sir but are you're guilds entertainers online everytime u need them? and as u can see by my sig, me and my pals swap servers alot so we try not to recruit... for the simple reason we don't know how long we'll be on the server for. Ty for sharing your wisdom with me though..... ![]()
I guess we all play the game differently...
