Thread: My attempt at my own SWG-style song

Before you listen to this, bear in mind that I had limited resources with which to write this. The instruments sound very MIDI-like, and it would probably sound 100x better with live instrument recordings instead of what I had to work with.

Anyway, since I think SWG could use more songs, I went and wrote this song, which I called 'Processional':

I put it together with a program to simulate a band playing random flourishes. To operate it, press space to start/stop the song, and press 0-8 to simulate a band flourish for the next flourish that plays (0 simulates nobody flourishing). The five white boxes represent the five different instrument groups (Slitherhorn, Kloo Horn, Bandfill, Nargalon, Mandoviol), and clicking on them will disable/enable them in case you want to hear an instrument by itself.

Once again, I apologize for how cheap and synthetic the actual instrument recording sounds. If I ever find a better way to record the flourishes, I'll update it.

Good work!

Now if they could just incorporate some composition tool into the game think of how much content the musicians could generate for themselves!

...I know, I know... ain't gonna happen, but I can dream, can't I?

I had a Force sensitive character, with 23 and a half boxes ground out.
I had a master creature handler.
I had a high lvl crafter character.
I had a Bounty Hunter that I hunted PC Jedi with.

My game is dead.
