Thread: how do i grind musician ?
hmm, suprising that ur not a musician in the game when you are in RL. 
You can make a simple music macro by just adding a bunch of /flourishes, /flourish(/flo) 1-8.
If you realy are aREAL musician and u enjoy socializing, you will NOT play afk with a looping macro.I honestly get pretty anoyed when i see a whole cantina full of wannabe afk'ers just doing it cause their holo said so. All they do is play while AFK all the time!

Well how doI actualy make a musician macro i dont really understand this musician thing. I also beg to differ with you Its alot different than in RL ... I CANT EVEN HEAR MYSELF !! lol I am a real musician but this is just kindaboring to me.I started playing this game soI could go out and kill stuff really. You guys do a great job you really do, butI can't play all day and come home to do the same thing at night ya know.
Now, if i were able to actualy compose my own music that would be pretty cool... is there anything that allows you to do this ?? but aside from that i'd rather be out killing stuff... sry i would rather get through this and leave it to the guys who know what they are doing and want to do it. well back to my original question. What is the fastest way to get through this profession?
No way to do it faster than anyone else.
Make a looping macro for flourishes. Also run a macro that starts music every 10 min or so just in case you run out of action and someone heals you or you run out and just need to build it back up. Find your biggest entertainer group then run the macros day and night, hehe. A side note dont bother putting a /say message in any of your macros, people generally hate those.
Also always play your highest song or play your highest instrument for max xp.

sorry i play the bass, get a little offensive if people mispell it. or pronounce it like the fish. im going master musician, and im a musician in life. i enjoy it. its fun

I've thought about a feature for us musician in-game. A little window with a part, so we could write our songs ehe. Like a macro, which will play our song. Heh it would be soo cool !!
Anyways, I like playing a musician, chatting with the band and "customer". But we need to find a way to not reallyprevent afk musicians, but to give bonuses to 'live' ones. I'd like some action, or something..
Don't "grind" musician, don't grind anything. Follow what you want to do with your life. Do not allow the instructions of some electric brick govern your life.
Had the devs understood what a jedi is, then following your own path would be theroad to jedi (if one wanted that), not some silly techno-fix that serves just to hook subscribers into "one more month".

Welcome to the world of business. Hooking subscribers into "one more month" is what it's all about, and you can darn well expect to see more gimmiks of the same fashion in the future.
