Hello,

I am Quintus with the BVC. (Chilastra Server.)

I am now venturing into the world of Musicians, and I need some pointers. I also need info on Macros, and getting a feel for how the Music profession works. (Instruments, Songs, etc...)

I see many, many AFK performers too, and it saddens me. I am never an AFK Musician. The reason I want the Macro, is so I can make actual songs...and I want to make Macros for other musucians, so we can play the same song,flourishes, and band flourishestogether.

I can usually be found in Cantinas in Tattooine, Corellia, and sometimes even Naboo. Send me an ingame E-Mail, or reply to this thread! I also want to know all of the Bands out there, and aspiring musicians that call CHILASTRA home! Post here!!!!!

I have some Doctor Skills, and combat Skills as well, but I really want to get into the Music field.

My main character, Ricky Starwalker, resides on Chilastra, and he'd be happy to get together with you and jam a bit. Also happy to answer any questions you might have. There are several good bands on our server. Also, if you're looking for "live" musicians, take heart; the private cantinas generally have much fewer AFK'ers than the public cantinas. But to get invited to play private cantinas, ya gotta get good.

my main advice would be to churn xp out of earshot of the majority of the world while developing past starwars 1. Or play in camps/obscure places where there are few entertainers. Everyone is sick of the starting song played through a n00bflute. If you can bring to the table any other song it helps quite a bit. Seriously. People will love you much more.

I'm glad we're remembered so fondly!

Many of the other Eternal Heart members left the game after a second or third rollback on the PA tags. A few also had issues with the way customer service was being handled in the game. All that happened after I logged out and had to move my RL self across the country for 6 days and then start a job hunt in a state where I knew 1 person. Needless to say, I know almost nothing about the various details leading up to it, but the band eventually broke apart at a time when a lot of new patches were coming out and all the gigs had dried up locally for a spell.

So I logged off for a few more weeks and settled in to my new place. But now I'm back, I think Teedo is around somewhere near Bella Vistal. I'm currently giggin' around Tatooine selling T-shirts for the "Twin Suns Half-Marathon" coming up in November. Part of the procedes go to help needy infants on planets like Ryloth. (make checks payable to "Kora Jubali," no off-world money orders or third-party checks accepted)

But, with the sale of my house on Corellia final, and by liquidating the last of my instrument stocks, I'm loaded to the lekku and ready to party like a Hutt at the Pod races.

i too am looking to join a band on chilastra.
until then, i continue to have monday night open mic nights at my place. i'm just south of kaadara. look for my posts on the events board. it's open to any musicians, dancers, singers, and of course, an audience! hopefully this will entice some people to want to play in my cantina (when and if i ever get the chance to place one).
