Sounds good, it would be interesting to be able to colour instruments

I stopped in the Cantina tonight, and ended up getting invited to the Entertainer Group, where I entered into a conversation with an up and coming musician. We both agreed that the Bandfil is an ugly instrument, and it occurred to me that the main problem with it is the color.
Now, the fact that RL instruments are made in all kinds of colors made me think it would be great if we could color our instruments when we make them. A brightly colored Bandfil would certainly look a lot nicer than the instrument we have now... and after all, tailors can color the clothing they make, BEs can choose the color they make pets, armor smiths can color armor, there is talk of making it so arcitects will be able to color furniture... why not allow musicians to color their instruments?
I know that this would be low priority, but even so, if it could be passed on to the Devs and possibly be considered for sometime in the future, it would be great!

I like it. I call dibs on a plaid bandfil. I want to look like I'm playing the bagpipes. Then I can stand around and yell the following at the nearest Ithorian...
"Head!.... Pants...NOOOOW!"

Nice idea, look for it sometime after they decide to let us color furniture.
Don't get me wrong I think it would be nice, but it would lead to ugly amounts of database load. At least 1 extra value per item....then 5 items per master musician...oh wait, double that at least, since I'd want different colors to go with different outfits....sigh I have a hard enough time holding everything I want without a back pack now, what would I do with double or triple the instruments?

I like the idea. Would be nice to coordinate with your outfit. Would be even better to coordinate the entire band. If they got rid of the delay while changing instruments, we could even make an instrument change macro (much like the clothing/wraps macros) and make the instrument 'cycle' through the colors. (Snagglepuss voice) Rainbow like even.

Love it! I think it's probably lower on the todo list than adding colors to furniture, though.
