a recent post got me thinking about this and I was wondering who else is a musician/combat class. I'm a Musician/heavy swords and have been for a while.... any one else?

In my experiece, you will actually find many such players around and usually grouped...they are usually some of the most social and fun people with which to hunt Fambaa.

Yeah, I think there are a lot of these, in large part because Musician isn't much of an income profession. A lot of folks will get a combat profession for the money, and Musician for the fun.
I myself was a Musician/TKM for quite a while, and only recently dropped TKM to pick up Dancer when I got my alt account, who plays a Swordsman.

I'm a Master Musician/Master Entertainer/Master Pikeman.
Why?
Because that's the uber-est template out there! Nevermind those fencer things...
Also, I can have my musical droid Sparkles play a base drum beat and do some effects while I'm killing Rebels. Glee!

I have a master muscian aspiring TKM. Never really fight to often though. I make enough money doing music, and have few expenses. As much as I love entertaining and have several characters, it feels weird to be in a SW environment and have no combat skill. I picked tkm because I wanted to know what experience I would get while holding an instrument and fighting. I got unarmed xp, so it was set in stone that I weild a chidinkalu in battle.

That's the exact template I'm aiming for. I'm currently grinding musician, but when I'm done I will be TKM, Master Entertainer, Master Musician and 0010 Medic.

I also have medic 0100. It helps a ton. It's also nice because if my guildies need some hides/meat I can drop medic and pick up scout to help them out. I've had this template for 18 months now. I love it. (ok..there was the month I was a CM..but we dont' count that)

I've been a Master Musician/Rifleman since shortly after launch. Early on, I was also Master Marksman to supplement my combat but the bug to play the Mando was too strong to resist

Before I picked up music I was master scout/rifle/CH. Then I was master ent/musician/rifle novice scout. Now I'm master ent/music/TK and dance 0030. I've always kept a combat tree for the change of pace. Money hasn't been an issue since I made tons early in the game with a few really good resource spawns. Now TK is wearing out armor that lasted literally many months as a rifleman so that may change a little. No matter what else I do I'll be master ent/musician I simply find that the most entertaining thing to do in game.

I thought I was the only one that would do such a thing. Pistoleer is kinda gimped without BH and Smuggler, and Master Ent/Music don't let us do more than master pistols and ranged IV.
Not to mention that melee is a far more popular choice that ranged, especially TK.

On my server, I custom make Mandos for anyone who wants that little boost of annoyance in PVP. Popular models are the "Screaming Krayt" and the "Jedi Basher"
But, I digress. I am a master musician/entertainer/TKM.
