Exactly my feelings too... I was ingame when my guild leader came on and told us about Tiggs' post. I then went to check - that was almost 3 hours ago, and I'm still shocked...
They just provided us with almost unlimited content (or the promise of it, hehe). This is quite possibly the most exciting Dev announcement I've ever seen in this game (since I don't really care all THAT much about combat).

That is incredible! That gets an A+ in my book! Of course, now I just need to find a server that acually DOES something w/ player events... instead of just PvP in bestine and theed.. "yipee!" *note the sarcasm*

Most awesome. The Jukebox is interesting as long as the songs are unique to it. But I would rather see sheet music that would allow unique music to be played by entertainers at special events. The jukebox appears to be the only item on the list that steps on the toes of a profession. It would be cool if entertainers could play along with the music. Thus the jukebox provides basic music for events where entertainers could not be located (I have heard of this but the people must not have looked very hard) but if you bring entertainers they can enhance the quality of music from the jukebox using it like an overpowered music droid.

I was under the impression that the jukebox just plays the environmental cues short term, not a constant run of music. If I'm wrong, and things like that little tune you can hear in some artisan guild halls is part of it ( I want that song!!!) then we need to make some noise about it.
