just curious
Getting together with friends and jamming at starports or street corners, putting on a show with bandflourishes (looks really neat with a nice big band and after working out a nice song), talking with the various people that are persistently running around this game and not taking a moment to enjoy it's splendor, cheering people up who are having a bad day, getting cheered up when YOU'RE having a bad day, finding out something new about the game from a cantina patron (a handy tip or a strategy to do something), what's happening in their profession, roleplaying potential in endless ways, keeping Image Designers entertained while working in their salons, utilizing one of the many (still non-functioning) stages that usually remain dormant near starports all over the galaxy, and generally just enjoying the inherent ability of Entertainers to get people talking and enjoying themselves.
Personally, one of my favorite things to do early on was to stand under one of those streetlamps by Theed Spaceport at night, playing a horn, and looking like a street Musician in any other big city in real life. I haven't done that for awhile, think I'll go do that again soon, heh.
We really add to the atmosphere in this game a lot, in a lot of ways. So that's a few things besides buffing that Musicians do, at least from my perspective.
