In this case, the players make the game (hence why it's called Massively Multiplayer, not Massively Single Player), so yea, I hate the players that made this game an AFK bot fest.

It's a shame that the legacy of Live Performers is coming or has come to a rapid end from AFK buffers and Cantina AFK'ers. 
It's funny that a little over a year ago AFKers weren't much of a problem (To my knowledge), and now they've become an epidemic across all servers.
People who shout around Coronet or Theed really need to look at their chat window and look for "auction" chat option if they're broadcasting about their stores or looking for wares. If more people used that function, there wouldn't be massive spamming across the major starports and less lag across the cities.

The auction channel though quickly became useless due to the amount of spam done by people in it.

Kinda like spatial is pretty useless around cantinas and starports. I pretty much run around using a custom channel that shows guild chat, group chat, and tells. I switch to spatial only when i have to address something there or when i'm somewhere with no spam.
