Here are some ways I was thinking that might allow entertainers to partisipate in the GCW..
- Entertainers help to discover Vunurability times on PvP bases
Your Rebel guild wants to take down a base on Naboo.. But you don't know when it is Vulnerable. So you send in not a spy but your Female Master Musician. Your Musician then needs to find a male imperial Npc.. and "seduce"(for lack of a better term) him by performing a song that she likes, Using the instrument, song, and flourishes to make him like her (Dancers would do the same but use Dances instead of songs/instrurment) When she suceeds he offers to go on a date with her and tells her to come back when his shift ends (When the base goes Vulnerable)
- Entertainers help to keep base vunerablity times secret
To counter this give base defending NPC's a"moral rateing".. If the faction who owns the base lets its defenders get down they are more likley to be suseptable to a strange performer appearing.. So to keep your base Vulnerable time a secret.. keep your NPC's Entertained. The higher their Moral the longer it would take for the performer to find a dance/flourished set that getsthe NPCs to reveal the Vunurable time.
- Entertainers Boost Combat abilities of NPC defenders
NPC defenders who have low moral suffer combat penalties, and can sometimes desert durring an attack. Neutral or faction allined Entertainers need to perfrom in the bases to boost the base's Moral
- Entertainers get Faction Points for boosting a bases moral
For performing at PvP faction bases entertainers gain Faction Points. This would allow Eetertainers who have no combat professions a way to earn the Faction Points needed to join their chosen faction.

Some neat ideas..however...sounds very "bard" like.
There are no bards in Star Wars.

Bard is just another name for a performer.

While I don't like the idea of a bard it may happen.
