From what I have read and playing around a bit in TC myself, The wound healing line is where we will be drawing our buffs from, correct? Does this mean that the techniques line is going back to being solely for effects and schematics? Or will they be doing something else with that line? I am going to be taking up a combat profession (finally after 2 years) and I dont want to take out a line that is worth something (effects dont do a thing for me). Thanks!

Well it does get you master musician which I consider the most important result of that line. You don't have to drop MM to complete a combat mastery. I'm TKM/MM/ME so you can easily get any one combat mastery. If you are going for two combat masteries then you will be dropping most of your entertaining not just one column (depending on what pair of combat masteries you have).
