Thread: Drums???
Hey i was thinking about creating a musician on a new server, but all the instruments seemed kinda boring...
Does anyone know if there are any drums for instruments in game yet or do those devs intend to actually pay attention to musicians and give me some drums??
It would make a full band if you could set up a drum set...

Bandfill sounds really good on certain songs though.

on some songs? a song isnt complete without the box/bandfill 
a box is not a drum, and niether is bag pipe deal or what ever the bandfil is. if they make drum like sounds, well thats good and all but thats not a precution instument. a drum or precusion instument is a musical tool that requires one to take a stick, blunt object or bare fist and beat the living crap out of it.
or to be more technical a precusion istrument is anything that you hit to make music. drums, triangles, tambariens, vibor slaps, cymbols, xylophones and even pianos (which are a hybrid precution/strings isntrument) are all precusion intuments because you have to hit them. (if you havent noticed by now i have a spelling issue... sorry)
ive seen people with the omnibox and they arent hitting it as far as i can tell? i cant really tell what they are doing with it....
the one large instrument that looks like i giant keyboard with a huge tuba like bell, that looks more like a piano which is the closet thing to a precusion intrument that ive seen in the game. sorry cant remember the name.
the omni box and the bandfil do not look like true precusion intuements to me, and i would know, my heart is a freaking bass drum and i was born with a snare stick in my hand. so in short there need to be more REAL precusion instuments in this game, i wanna see people beating the crap out of stuff and all for the entertainment of the battle fatueged masses.
Warning to the DEVs: the addition of REAL precusion intruments is neccicary to maintian harmony through out the galaxy, the reason is this: there is a condition that exsists called Chronic Drummers syndrom.
Chronic Drummers Syndrom - a condition where a person feels the need to rhythmicly tap a pencil or beat tables and body parts with own hands for minutes and sometimes hours at a time. in many situations this person does not even realize he or she is prefomring this action. there is no known cure how ever treatment can be arranged in the form of musical creation and/or expretion. left untreated this condition may escalate to the point where those effected would loose control and being savagly beating small children and old ladies.
im sure the precusionist of the galaxy have been very pachent up to this point, but if something isnt done to staticfy a drummers need to hit things then im a friad the SWG world is doomed to destruction by rhythmic beatings
