I'll keep it short: Everytime I don't have the Ommni Box selected, I stop playing. Does anyone else have this problem?

Nargalon is the same way. They have been like this since beta. However trying to get the DEV's to fix is hard, and this not ment sarcatistic. But it isn't a game breaking bug.

It is very apprent now though with our new abilities to target players for buffs. With this we might get more attention toward it.

Just use /setperform <name> (without the <> of course), works fine without targetting the person.

There's really no point to playing the ommni box because of the annoying targetting thing. Bandfill has cooler looking flourishes and it's easier to play, and sounds the same. You don't get quite as much XP, but if you're playing Ommni you're pretty close to not needing XP anyway.

Sometimes I do put up with the ommni box because it looks a bit more drum-like than the bandfill. But yes, the targeting issue is a pain. I believe the devs are aware that we dislike the targeting system with the nalargon and ommni, but I will remind them again. My sense, though, is that other needed fixes have a higher priority -- e.g., stat bugs relating to our buff.
