Previoulsy character was albe to equip their insturments play alright not a newbie and now tried many different things to get rid of current bug

anyone else see this one? been reported on several servers

Hmm, I haven't seen this one. I've always had trouble with the confounded "You must stop running before you can start playing music". I take it you're referring to a new error message?

If all bug reports SOE gets are like this, I can see why the game is like it is. I'm an SWG musician and RL developer. Even I can't tell what you want to say.

Where and when did what happen to you ?
What should have happened instead ?
Why is it game-breaking for you ?

I can play music just fine btw.

I sometimes get "You are unable to do that at this time" when I want to start dancing or play a song, when I try again I start playing/dancing.

It can be annoying but not as annoying as "You can do that while running" after I stand up from resting my action.

i havent gotten that message. and ive been starting stopping right away with no prob

I've been getting this message for the last 4 days. I've tried playing every song I know. I've also tried using every instrument with no luck. Hopefully they fix it soon.
