Thread: Noob buff ?
Im thinking on starting the entertainer path. I would like to become a musician more than a dance to compliment my tka and help my PA with buffs.
Is it true that musicians only buff will and focus? Why not mind? Whats more importand mind or secondary stats?

Why cant we buff ourselves? Doctors can buff themselves. If this is the case it does not seem very fair.
Yes, Musicians buff Focus and Willpower, while Dancers buff the Mind. As for which one is better, I would think that would depend on the person receiving the buff. Being a full-time entertainer, I don't really have an idea 
Hopefully we'll be able to buff ourselves in the future 
Corsarioboricua: IMHO, our buff is at least as useful as the Dancer's buff to Mind, and perhaps more useful. One crucial reason is armor: armor encumberance affects Focus and Willpower, the stats we buff; it does not affect Mind directly. You just can't wear certain armor without sufficiently highFocus and Willpower. This reason alone makes our buff invaluable, IMHO.
Another reason is that Focus and Willpower keep the Mind pool full. Consider this analogy. My Musician moonlights as a Carbineer,a profession that eats up the Action pool. Do I choose to buff Action or the secondary stats? (I can't do both because of the current stat bug.) Answer: the secondary stats. By doing so, my green bar stays almost full while I shoot. I'd rather have 900/900 Action than 300/1800. Likewise, I imagine Riflemen and Medics might prefer 900/900Mind (because of fast regeneration) than 300/1800.
I'm hopeful that we'll see this in the future. The Dancer Correspondent and I have both mentioned it to the devs; I'll keep you posted if I hear anything.
