As far as I'm aware all 3 of us are. I know for sure that myself and Panthu will be there.

I would really like to go. I've asked TH several times for official confirmation that we ent correspondents are invited, and every time I ask, a fellow Correspondent says "yes we are." I'd just like to hear it directly from TH! The topic is combat rebalance, a subject in which Musicians do have a stronginterest. Just not as big an interest as, say, a summit on AFK'ing.
The main issue for me is that I teach, and any out-of-town meeting during a school semester means I have to cancel classes. Most university classes don't start until after Labor Day, but I teach law, and we start ... that week. So if I go for the whole shebang, I'm looking at cancelling two of my three classes in the first week of school. My dean wouldn't like that. I haven't asked yet because we still haven't seen a firm itinerary from TH. I'll have to see. SWG is very important to me, but my students are even more important.

Hrm... cancel the first several classes.... sounds good to me.
No real chance someone else in the department could cover? I've had several classes that started with one professor for the first 2 weeks or so then switched over to the professor who's class it was. I think at least one of these was for medical reasons and the classes were all non-objective (if that is the term I am looking for, just mean that they had steady foundations and are taught basicly the same no matter what the professor was... human, alien, fungus... no real difference)
heh, I don't mean to pretend to know how the university system works.

As in, about how our specials (flourishes) are going to happen when they change specials for combatants? That's my question.

I trust Panthu and Tiaga to cover it, really I do. Panthu knows I'd be heartbroken if she didn't look out for me.
Your students are more important, because RL is more important (much as I wish it weren't sometimes).

Fordep, if I were gone for two weeks or more, another prof would indeed cover for me. For a week, I'm on my own. I have to make up at least one or two classes later in the semester, which students always hate. (The ABA requires a certain number of classes to meet per semester.) And first-year law students are at their best in the opening weeks of school. I think I might be willing to bag a single Friday class, but because I don't have a schedule or itinerary from SOE, I don't know if that will work.
Echinacea, I agree that Panthu and Tiaga are perfectly well-equipped to cover for me. Tiaga is himself a Master Musician. I'd still really like to go and will try toarrange it,but we'll have to see.

Combat balance is important to entertainers. Remember that the HAM pools are going to change which means our ever so delicate buffing will change. There are several correspondants that play entertainers as well so I know our class will be represented even if NewJedi cannot attend.
