If you can't get hold of me directly then please send an in-game e-mail.
Thank you!
wow another person that thinks it's worthy to hit master entertainer just for the song and mandoviol. Everyone i hang out with on Ahazi isn't bothering to learn master, they are just skipping into musician
nice to see i'm not the only one who thinks this step important in a musician's career.

I don't think anyone is debating whether it's important. I also wouldn't call it 'skipping into musician'. Both impose a negative connotation, as if it's wrong to get Novice Musician before Master Entertainer.
Personally, as I mentioned in another thread I figured half the music-type entertainers would shoot for Master Entertainer first. I made my decision during beta that I wanted to be part of the half that persued the Musician fully, first. My reasons being, there has to be someone to make the Mandoviol that the Master Entertainer plays. Also there are more rewards for a musician in the Musician profession than there are in the Master Entertainer skill box.
That certainly doesn't mean that I don't intend on getting Master Entertainer along the way or afterwards.
I just want to rebute the opinion that it's wrong to do so.

It seems you have mistaken what i was saying. There was no negative connotation to be read. I was saying that the musicians i play with are going to skip Master Entertainer. as in I ask them about it and they tell me "This character is never going to dance and I am NOT dancing and image designing just to get Master Entertainer".
In fact i have found very few people who are actually going to skill up to train master entertainer now or ever, for that matter. My post is to be taken at face value. The people i hang around in the cantina don't plan on ever training it, and i am pleased to see that i am not the only person who has an interest in training for variety and completion sake. I never once said that you MUST train it before moving into the Musician profession, in fact i dunno where you got half the stuff you were trying to say about my post. *shrugs*
You need to chill back a bit there Pendarin, there really aren't backwards hidden messages in every song. =P
I'm buying stuff from Martyn. He's good and reliable on Starsider. :>
I am not "forgoing" Master Entertainer, but I'm getting some stuff in the Music Elite tree first. I'm getting up to Knowledge II (to get the Bandfill), getting the lights in Technique 1, THEN going down and starting on my dancing career.
Hopefully I'll have the Mandivol by the end of next week on Starsider, and I'll continue up the Knowledge line.:>
I dislike how they put the last song and instrument in the master entertainer box. As a musician you shouldn't have to do hair or dance to get all the SONG's and INSTRUMENT's. This is just wrong.
I picked the entertainer profession solely to do music. And now am being penalized for it.

I think what you mean is there was no negative connotation intended. Fair enough.

I never once said that the opinion I was trying to rebute was yours, yet you assumed it was. I guess there are two ends of the stick after all.
My intent was to respond to an opinion I felt was evident (not just from your post, by the way) with valid reasons why I thought otherwise. At least I didn't try to insult you and I would appreciate the same respect in return, please.

Aye, I make Mandoviolins
I hand delivered one to Taji yesterday eve on Corellia (Well, he came to visit me while I was visiting coronet and Daericdropping off instruments)
I should be able to do bandfill and Chidinkaluin the next few days. At that point, I am going to work on my knowledge a bit, a maybe pick up Master entertainer. Who knows? I usually go where the stars take me =)
I reside on Naboo, but If I can get a return on the Round trip ticket costs(IE, people will buy from me off the bazaar or in person), I have no problem delivering instruments to other planets.
