well I have all 4 levels of artisan eng but as my points are running thin I will haev to start to surender some

so what has me worried is do I need artisan eng to make instruments to play music on?

can I make them with just music skill?

can anyone anwser this please

Yes, you only need musician skills to craft instruments, although you will need a general item crafting tool. You can get by with just a generic for the lower level ones, but I'm sure as an artisan you've got lots of crafters handy.

The schematics come with levels of Musicianship when you're in the entertainer profession, and the Music Tech skills of musician.

One quick note is that creating instruments give you musician xp, not general crafting. So you can spend your time resting from playing by grinding slitherhorns, which give about 90 music xp. Not the most glamorous route, but anything is preferable to playing StarWars1 for hours on end...
