Hey, firts let me introduce myself, i don't post much on these boards. I play on Elcipse as "Imperia". Is just hit music knowledge 2 and i'm well on my way to knowledge 3 and then on to master!

I'm going to a big hunting party on Lok thrusday night, as i also took up the medic proffession. I'm also going to take novice marksman for that night probably and get a master artisan to craft me a good CDEF so i can defend myself I was wondering if any of you ever went to Lok or other "Advanced" planets like dantooine, Dahtomir or even Endor to check out the cantinas (or the med centers, i know alot of entertainers take up medic as well). My guess was that there'd be good buiseness there because of the bigger difficulty of mobs, wich means more deaths, more wounded, and so on.

I remember my only trip to Dathomir in beta, at the imperial outpost. I met a guy who was stranded there with no money, his corpse about 1k away from town, he had 1 to each ham bar, the rest black.. (bless his poor soul ). Of course he could never find any medics to heal him.

So this is my question: Has any of you ever been to such planets to play (or heal, if you're a medic on top). Do the people there tip good (since you probably are savign their butt, in the case of guys such as the one i met on Dahtomir), are they friendly, etc. Mainly, is it fun/viable to do it? And also, is it dangerous? i don't have any skills to defend myself and my best bet would probably to run healing myself into a safe zone...

Ideas? Opinions?

I went to Lok, it was empty except 1 other player.

Don't even think about fighting here as a novice marksman. Every mob is red, all are aggressive.

Just hang in the cantina, and in the fortress area, and you'll be safe. You can wander out a little bit, keep your eye on your radar.

For a special suprise (unless you know it already), check out the back room of the cantina.....

Lok is actually cheaper to get to than the other high-level planets, though, so make sure you have a round trip ticket!

I'm actually hoping to join the Lok raid as well, but I'm sorta guessing I'll see you tonight in Coronet? If so, let me know. Except for Business, I'd be a Master Artisan. I can pump out a mean CDEF and a bunch of powerups for you. I'm still carrying a good amount of good quality (OQ and Conductivity) stuff from my artisan days.

But I haven't kept up with the Lok raid scheduling. If I see ya ingame could ya let me know the particulars? Email or here would be fine (I just found these boards...)

Also on Eclipse, have not been to Lok as yet but I am playing at a house party there on Friday night, so I may stop by the cantina and see what it is like
