Why do we not get General crafting XP for creating instruments? they are listed under the general crafting tab and built with the General crafting tool.... Why should scounts get GCXP for camps but we get none for instruments?

Crafting instruments does give you musician xp, though. It looks like they decided that making an instrument is more musical than artisan-y. I haven't been able to tell if you also get music UXP for the instruments, but that's always hard to catch, so it might even be included.

Just a small note in case you didn't catch what they are giving you. If you did know that, and just think a general crafting reward is more appropriate than music xp, more power to you; although I personally think it's an appropriate xp category as it is.

I did some building last night and didnt see that I was getting Musician XP for creation of Instruments. But why give musician XP for crafting, even if it wasnt broken? GCXP is so much harder to come by. Typically you'll get anywhere from 60-70 GCXP for creating similar level items. Thats the same as like3 minutes of flourishing? Scouts and Marksman dont get their class XP for building camps and guns. I know because I'm using camp building for my GCXP.

Seems a little skewed to me.

I think I'd rather see myself getting musician exp for crafting instruments for other players. This way, I could get the exp while I'm out of the cantina. The only problem I see with it is that the bazaars would be flooded with 500000 slitherhorns
