Ok im trying to be a nice classy musician

I not a prude and I realy love playing but do we have to do such outragous flourishes

the swaying my brests infront of the people to play a bit is awfull!

having to do a robot like wave when I do flourish8 with the bandfull !

why do we have to stand on the keys to play a note or play a note with our teeth on the string?

I want to be a class act not a joker

please a way to do just a little less outragous flourishes PLEASE!

playing the fanfar while doing folk is so beutyfull and artfull till I wag my brests at people

ceramonial is so nice till I play it with my mouth on the strings !

and I dont want to stand on the keyboard or play with my feet or play backwars or any of that

please a set of flourishes or a switch to set it from nice to outragous

go to an a clasical soncert and see them shake there chest at you or the pianist play standing on the keys

ok its late and im repeating myself

please allow some of us to play with dignity yes its fun once and a while and but after the 100th time its just stupid

That would fix it. Keep the sounds, but turn off the butt shaking.

I think this thread exhibits, more clearly than any other, the difference between entertainers and musicians. Also, why musicians should never ever ever get the Mando!

Thanks for your post, Faydra. I do think it might be nice to have an option to turn the flourish animations off. The ommni animations have always bothered me a little, so I can understand your concern. As it happens, I roleplay a rather rambunctious character, so the animations fit my role reasonably well.

How many other musicians share Faydra's view? Should this item make it into our top five list at some point?

yes animations on off would be grand and I would settle for that

but a set of toned down flourishes would be the best for me

I know its a lot of work and a lot to ask for but hay I can dream

but yes being able to set up a macro (legal kind) flourish A; /flourish 3; /flourish B

where A - H were flourishes with the same notes but just a little swaying and not playing an instrument with your teeth! and the other normal flourishes are the old ones

so to be able to play a song and then in the end finaly everyone throw there axe into the are would be grand!

Animations off would be a great option, but sometimes at the bar you've got to show the crowd you're having a party.

I vote yes for an option to turn animations off.
And this is top 5 worthy at somepoint.

Flourish 8 with the bandfill is one of the coolest animations in the game.

I pretty much disagree with the entire post, respectfully. I enjoy the flourish animations and think they are a lot of fun. They are more "rock star" than "diva" but that's cool, and they shouldn't change them to make them less ...showey. An option of two different kind of flourishes is a good idea though. Taking away the current flourishes would be disappointing to me.

20 musicians all dressed finely

the music starts.....

the keyboardist jumps up on the keyboard and stomps on it

the flute players wigglle there chests at you

the string sections half eat there instrument the other half play it behind thee back or throw it into the air

yes that would be very funny once twice maby three times

but after that its just stupid

I dont want to take those kind of flourishes out no way sometimes I want to throw my axe into the air or get down and funky but most of the time I want to play folk or balad beutyfully and nicely with grace and style

I never seen max reboot stand on his keyboard or play with his feet or trunk!

please let us switch the flourishes to normal to wild and mix and match!

waho I agree with you the current animations for music are awsome and some of them I love to use

but I know a lot of people that dont want to play an instrument with ther teeth!

I dont wnt to haev to wiggle my shect at people every time I want to play a certan bit nor Do I want to throw my instrument into the air a dozen times durring a song and I dont want to just on the keyboard all the time

No I dont want them changed or removed I jsut want an option or a set of lesser animatiosn that we can play aswell!

like I said a grand finaly would be cool to throw my instrument into the air

and on some songs getting down and playing behind my back would be nice too but only sparingly and defently not for every song

thew Folk song played with a fanfar is beutyfull and very nice but when durring it I haev to BEND OVER AND WIGGLE MY BRESTS when im trying to play a moving number is upsetting

Playing balad a very lovely song wiht a bandfin is very nice and aslo moving but again the wiggle of brests anad the standing up and doing a wave (like stadum wave) with my arm is not right for that song

and like I sad imagin a 14 person band on stage in a music hall every instrument being played open up with balad then people jump on keyboards throw instruments wiggle brests play with there teeth tht would not be good or realistic

no dont take them out they are nice sometimes and defently for some songs but not for everyone all the time every time I play certan flourishes and with all sexes and styles

allow us to replace the very fun and funny flourishes with the more sedate rocking and swaying motions of other flourishes and let us do both so we can add a LITTLE CONTROLED spice to a song if its approate and we wish to

This is the craziest statement I've ever heard here. The mando animations are no worse than any of the other instrument ones.

I think the animation should be based on the song more so than the instrument. I totally agree the over the top animation don't fit well with the softer songs and fit in perfectly with the more upbeat. Perhaps that in itself is the answer...Tailor it towards the music, not the instrument
