Thread: Anyone notice this after the 11/25 patch?

Previously, I could have it setup to do this:

/ui action toolbarSlot00; (would equip the Bandfill for me)

/startMusic rock;

/pause 50;

/ui action toolbarSlot01; (Traz)

/startMusic jazz;

/pause 50;

etc... I had about 15 different combinations, people liked it because I would play a lot of different music instead of playing the same thing over and over. It used to immediatly switch instruments and songs, but now all it does is stop your playing and say that you can't start playing. I'd have to give it another try when I get home to see the exact message. Any idea why this happened?

Are you in a group? I could be wrong but I don't think you can specify a song unless everyone in the band has stopped playing and you are starting the next song.

No, this was playing by myself. The way it previously worked, was when you switched instruments it would automatically stop the song you were playing when the floursih that's playing is over. But, having it do a /startMusic imediatly would cue up the next song, so it apeared like you never quit playing, just switched instruments and songs. Now, it no longer cues up the next song.

yeah, I ran into the same problem, I found a solution though. Use /ui action toolbarSlotXX and just drag the official button to that XX slot on you toolbar form the "Other" tab in your list of emotes. that fixed it for me. Only problem is, you may out of space on one toolbar and need to use the /ui action toolbarPaneXX command and stuff. Hope that helps. Take care

This is working properly for me, but the macro I use is just a simple command to switch instruments... Like your's that you posted but without the pause or anything...

Just

/ui action toolbarSlot00; /startmusic ceremonial

I only have one of these and just drag instruments to it and change the song name in the macro itself if I want a different song. I know that if you switch to another instrument using this macro too soon after previously starting a song, you will play the outro and stop. I would think /pause 50 is long enough to wait, but perhaps not.... besides, that's not nearly long enough for one song

I have all my instruments up in my hot bar, and I do my starts and such manually..
