Greetings:

Do you all ever try and get your Bandmembers (Groupmembers) in a tight little group? You know, to actually make it look like a real Band, and not Musicians randomly scattered all over the place? I love trying to do this, because it looks so much cooler! From a RP aspect, this is a given. Most people (that arent AFK :smileysad have no problem forming up, to 'make' a Band, but some just wanna be a pain.

I know the new Cantinas in player Cities try andencourage this by having an actual Stage, but in the main CIties, its chaos! It's like a real Band exploded, and members are all over the place!

Does this annoy anyone else out there? And is there any hope? Maybe something where you have to be within earshot of your other Bandmembers, If you're not, you cannot play...just brainstorming...

Yes... I often play with a Master musician and when she plays on her Nalagorn I will sit myself with my Ommni box in front of the big Nalagorn and I will face her while we play.

When I'm playing with others on Horns then usually we line up next to eachother with the dancers dancing in front of us. Or we make a wide half circle facing the dancer(s).

If I'm the only musician with one or two dancers then I will position myself so that I'm playing for the dancer(s), usually I play the Mando, Traz or Chi horn when I'm solo musician but some people just like the sound of the Ommni Box

I usually just say to get in formation and it works about 1/10th of the time. /shrug

Player run cantinas are much better, you have a smaller band that is organized musicially and in a formation, and well, some hugepaychecks

actually doing it in a cantina is really tough, esp with so many afk people. but every so often we do. Just for fun we actually made a row of 4 nalargons in the middle of coronet cantina.It looked pretty cool actually.

Well, last night, I was in the biggest group of AFK'rs and chaos ever! ARGHHHH!!!!

It was on Chilastra Server, Coronet, Corelliain the Cantina. 20 people, no one anywhere near eachother. Some up on the steps, some way back behind the bar, some along the sides, and I'm sure, if they could have been hanging from the ceiling, they would have been.

Anyway, I cant wait till we get our Player City up and running to the point where I can advertise for people to come by and play in our Cantina. ...and I swear, if anyone dosent group up, or take it seriously, or goes AFK for an indefinite amount of time...BAM!
