I posted this in the GCW forum. Want to know what you guys/gals think.

I didnt see anything specifically relating to this class of people in your posts. At the very least allowfactioned musicians to play faction specific music not avaliable to neutrals. I think being able to play a nice war march or *gasp* Vader's or the Emperor's theme would REALLY kick arse! Silly? Yeah, but cool. Novice musician is a good level to start allowing access to these songs. I'd go master musician if I could play the Emperor's theme.

Also increace the mind buffing rate/effectiveness for factionedOVERT musicians/dancers to other factioned OVERT players. Docs can quickly buff a fair number of people. Musicians/dancers can't (takes like 10 min. for the maximum buff PER PERSON). Also enchance the passive buff with the same overt requirements. This applies to cantinas, camps, and houses.

Give musicians/dancers MEGA buff/effectiveness bonuses for performing OVERT to other OVERT players at PLAYER bases. Master dancers/musicians should buff one persons mind to a max comparable to what Master docs can do (like having 3000 mind).

Seriously though, Musicians certainly can take up some elite marksman profession, there's plenty of skill points for that.

Achilles, I'd really like to see more Star Warsy tunes too. Star Wars 3 has a bit of the Empie theme of course, SW2 is the cantina tune, and there are hints of SW themes in other tunes (e.g., Waltz). But we need more. Heck, we need more music generally. It's the single most important thing I'd like to see happen on my watch as Correspondent: new songs.

I also agree on factional perks affecting our buffs. Now,we do get some bonus to healing when weplay while Overt, supposedly, but it's hard for me to monitor since I no longer gethealing XP messages when I play music. Idon't think our buff currently is increased if we or our recipient or both is Overt; anyone know for sure? Assuming not, I'll suggest it to the devs.

I am personally neutral, but overt faction bonuses would be a good idea as well.

Personnelly I like the idea of the entertainer/musician/dancer/image designer as a imformation gatherer or spy in the GCW. I would like to see us be able to pick up information from the NPCs in hotels/cantinas/theaters that others can not get. Would be very cool if the information picked up was related to the faction of the entertainer doing the questioning, i.e. some clues about imperial troop movements passed on to a rebel entertainer to be passed on to other rebels, or hints for each faction doing badges and so forth.

It'd be really cool to have factional music. I can just imagine playing the Throne Room march after a big PA victory but some of these factional specific songs would need added flourishes to sound good.
