Hello:

I'm in the midst of learning Musician and ran into an issue this morning. I tried to use my music droid for the first time in my city's cantina, but could not get it to start playing the track I recorded. I took it outside and the track played fine, but the droid was unable to follow me inside (kept getting lost in the cantina's foundation). I looked through the bug/issue threads posted, but did not see this listed. Any advice would be appreciated.

Its a common issue that happens in very laggy situations.

I've had it happen most often in Coro or Theed cantina. Try entering the cantina slower or faster. Often when the droid needs to warp to catch up it'll get him on the correct level.

Another thing is to enter the Cantina through the back door. Your pets are much less likely to sink through the floor when you come in there than when you enter the cantina through the front door. This bug affects both droids and creature pets.

Thanks for the tips, but the problem has been in my player city's cantina. No back door to sneak into *giggle*.

The cantina sits up really high, so when I pull the droid just outside the door and try to get it to follow me in, it goes into the foundation. I'm going to submit a bug report when I get home and log in tonight, but wanted to see first if other musicians had this problem in player cities

You should be able to call your droid inside the cantina if it is a public structure, although saying that I found my droid has been bugged when I have tried to call it inside a player city cantina before.

City cantinas are usually public and allow calling of droids, but even though NPC ones are VERY public, you cannot call pets or droids inside them at all. This is as intended as its been this way for ages....maybe since launch (I didn't encvounter it til after I got a mount and an entertainer droid months later).
