I have purchased a second account today with the main purpose of mastering musician. The car will be a master musician / master fencer while I continue to grind my main account. I want this specifically to buff myself and guildmates, not the public. The faster I am able to master music then the sooner I can head on to mastering fencer. Then I can drop fencer on my main and start on squad leader.

So I am thinking I need to get a friend who is a CM and work this but is there anything specific that I should know to help me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well, there's a sticki'ed FAQ on the buff in this forum, so that should answer most questions about buffing. As for leveling up fast, I'm the wrong guy to ask; I did it the old-fashioned way, without macros.

Said like someone who has a smile on their face. I love this game and I play several hours everyday. Simply because I want to be able to buff myself so I can play my main without having to find a buffing musician is silly. Why do you even think I would play this game if it wasn't for having fun?

Didn't your parents teach to think before opening your mouth? Also how narrow minded do you have to be to think that because I might not have fun the same way you do that it is still not fun?

Ok. Lets cover what your parents forgot in your upbringing.

  • Don't assume everyone should or is going to think the same way you do.

  • THINK before you decide to open your mouth and let everyone know you're a creatin.

  • If you do decide to open your mouth at least make it a battle worth fighting. then at least you can have the victory of knowing you stand up for what you believe, even if everyone now knows your an idiot.

Not sure what else your parents forgot to teach you but if you really want you can come back to this post all butt hurt and let us know what we need to help you with.

I have been playing this game on and off for maybe 2 years now and have always admired entertainers. Over the time ive spent on this game ive baddled in smuggler, pistoleer, ranger, and other profs but i have finally decided to pick up an instrument and become a musician. I know this is not a very useful profession anymore (to say the least). Anyway just thought id let you guys know that there are still some people outside the entertainer community who admire and enjoy these profs.

Good to hear! I love the profession. It is still one of the things that draws me to the game... the fact that I can play and not have to go smash monsters mindlessly to 'be good'.

Welcome to the slightly odd world of the Musician! Have fun and try not to wonder too hard where exactly we store our Nalargons when we are not using them!
