The 30 second uber-spamming method no longer works. The fastest method to apply a full buff is to perform 5 flourishes every 8 seconds for at least 2 minutes, which confers about a 1 hour, 10 minute buff. If the patron listens for 3 minutes, 10 seconds, it will be for 2 hours.

I just wish our buffing interface was more informative. I was buffing a guildmate the other night. I was playing for at least 7 minutes, but I'm guessing he wasn't listening for that entire time because he only got a 1+ hour buff

I just wish that we KNEW if we buffed someone. Why in the wide world of sports do we have NO MEANS of seeing if we buffed mind secondaries?
Who's hair-brained scheme was it, that decided a buffing profession would have absolutely no way of knowing if they buffed someone or not? It's just plain stupid, and I want that fixed now.
There are so many things involved in our profession that border on lunacy. Unfortunately

Ok first off I am not 100% sure on where to post this but well i have decided to put it here. If you don't agree, Sorry
Well i am 3/4 way through my padawan trials and JUST decided to change my template so i have considerable defenses. Heres the thing, I know if i die i loose 4500XP upon Clone and really i cant afford that XP loss at my level.
Can iquit the padawan trials for now and drop the risk of loosing Jedi XP if i die?
Or will i simply be taken back to the beginning of the padawan trials and loose jedi XP upon Clone ?
Help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
I have looked through the Jedi guide and FAQ and i could not find anything sorry

if you jedi intiate (half way threw paddywanabe trials) you will loose xp, and your able to quit the current mission or task that you are on and able to recieve the mission again

once you have made your lightsaber then it is too late. I may be wrong, check and see if you can set your title to "jedi initiate", if you can, then you will experience xp loss. I went on the vette and learned this the hard way.

Yes i know i will loose XP upon death right now, what im saying is if i quit the padawan trials will i still loose XP upon death even though technically i havent started the trials yet?
I have made my saber already!

Yes because youve still reached initiate. I dont think you can drop it so youre bound by the same issues whether you restart or not.

Hmm... do you usually die a lot? I cannot remember the last time I died while fully buffed, fully armored, and doing normal non-Jedi grinding stuff. Just make sure you do it before the combat upgrade - things might change a lot when that goes live.
