Thread: Please help. Can't get past audition for musician quest

This is getting really frustrating, and I am probably mission something simple.
While attempting the audition I was playing virtuoso and instructed to change style to starwars2. So I stop playing but cant start playing again for 14 seconds, in which time the judges say, Failure - failed to comply in a timely manner. I tried every command I could think of to change styles while playing, but can't find one. Can someone help me here. These 24 hr waits are really getting to me.

You can use /change [songname] to change your song while you're playing.
Alternatively, if you're doing the dance quest, use /changedance.

also just type /changemusic and it will bring up the song list while you are still playing then just switch and keep going. also once you get to your concerts, dont make it sound musical. just do flourishes that they like mixed with a few others over and over. it works very well.

If you accidentally type /st (which makes you stand, which makes you stop playing music or dancing) don't panic...as long as you're a musician. /startband <nameofsong> will get you going again before the 15 second waiting period.
