Thread: Any Master Musicians want to jam on occassion?

I've been a master for over a year, and have yet to get together with a bunch of other masters, each on a different instrument, and jamming on Virtuoso. I don't want to form a band - that tends to feel too restrictive to too many players - but knowing a group of other masters who just want to hang out every once in a while, maybe put on a show in a theater or cantina, would be a lot of fun. I enjoy the music system a lot, and miss the old days (before the hologrind) when musicians would just hang out in a cantina talking to each other and people who were passing through.
Nowadays, it's just huge groups of AFKers and buffbots - I can't even get people to /listen to me to get my "promotion" rank up for the theater manager quest.
Anyway - if you're on Sunrunner, and want to arrange perodic gigs, drop me an in-game email.

My alt is a Master Musician on Starsider. Just say hey to me (Warryyr) and we could set up a time to get together and jam. He's also a Master Entertainer, so we could get the Mandoviol kickin' and all that.

Sunrunner, or Starsider? Your profile server says Starsider, but you posted being on Sunrunner. Warryyr and I are both on Starsider, and I know both of us would be tickled to just hang out and mess around with instrument and song combos.

I would make a point of being at the same place at a set time every week, and announcing that on your server's board, as well as here. Pick a player-cantina where RP-ers like to hang out, or wherever you can find an ATK audience. Make it a regular event, open to all entertainers, and you'll probably find a core group you'll want to hang out with.
I was lucky enough to get invited to join an existant band (The Kreetles). I don't tour much with them, but I'm there at our regular gigs on Talus almost every Friday night. We don't play Virtuoso much - most of the other songs are better if you get the right mix of instruments.

I would join ya but I play on bri If u came to bria u would get a lot more people wanting to do so. If u ever decide to switch over to bria- let me know
