In addition to the other changes listed yesterday which included the reintroduction of simultanious music and dance buffs, there have been other changes!


Entertainer missions have been improved.


Improvements:


Payout increased to over 1000 credits

Mission time listed in the mission description (10 minutes)



Remaining problems:


Apparently no scaling increase in payout for level of mission

Musician missions still labeled as Dance under "Mission Type"

Dance missions display a nalargon in the mission description.





Feeling no connection with the Force since 2003

I mean, don't get me wrong, 1k is nice, and it's something, but not being able to pull bigger missions than that, after expending so many skill points, is still unacceptable to me.


This does not put us on equal footing, or near equal footing financially. We've been stiffed THIS long, and we're still getting stiffed.


I'm happy that they increased payout. I am NOT happy with our missions. An Entertainer should be able to run missions and survive comfortably in this game like anyone else. PERIOD.


Why are Entertainers being oppressed financially? I fail to understand this.

Entertainer missions do not appear to be tied to combat skill level. Senom on TC took missions, having no combat skill, and I did as well being a TKM. Same payouts of 1100 - 1300 credits.



But... that's probably a good thing. It makes zero sense to me that entertainer missions should be tied to combat skill level.



As I've said in other threads, I'd love to see a Mission Revamp for entertainers that would make our missions more immersive, more engaging, and more fun gameplay, and scale with our skill levels using our skills. But, I'll still take this smaller step right now, rather than wait until time is freed up to redesign the way that missions work. 100 - 200 credits was just not right. 1100 - 1300 credits at least gets these in line with other professions' 'newbie' mission payouts, and that's the first step. And I'm thrilled about this small change.

Over 1000 credits now? Woo happy days are here
I suppose that it is a start, now if only they had the scaling increase on the payout based on Musician/Dancer level to something worth my time as a Master Musician... I suppose it will happen one day.
