Anyone know the /commands for targeting the playback module and selecting a song for the droid to play?

It's a pain to select the song after every disband.

Hmm, I'm not aware of any droid-specific commands to change the song.

However, if you have a droid with several playback modules in it, you can record different song/instrument combinations.

This way, your droid is playing with your band (it's in your group).

If you do a /changebandmusic ballad (or whatever song you want), and your droid has a playback module in it that has ballad recorded with an instrument, the droid should start playing with you, with the new song.

Anyone disagree? I think that's how you can easily change the song of your droid without stopping and selecting from the radial menu.

So:

/changebandmusic

is your command. You just need to pre-record the instrument/song. This is where anticipating your setlist or recording your favorite songs on multiple playback modules in your droid is really handy.

Here's how many playback modules fit in each droid:

R3 Advanced - 6

R2 Advanced - 5

R4 Advanced -3 (i'm pretty sure)

LE Repair Droid - 3

Binary Load Lifter Advanced - 3

Surgical Droid - 3

Protocol Droid Advanced - 2

R5 Advanced - 2

DZ70 Advanced - 2

WED Treadwell Adv - 2

MSE Adv - 2

Yeah I remember playing around with trying to / playback stuff. I gave up after playing with it for about 30 minutes. As /changeb will change the playback track (as long as the new song is one it knows.)

/startband and /stopband work as well. What I usually do it record ommni box for the songs I most lik in my droid, then swap between them.

This is often a problem for me as well. I hate having to be quick on the trigger finger to target the droid, access the songlist panel, and retarget the nalargon before the next flourish.

You can record the same song with multiple instruments into your droid, but if you're using /changebandmusic the droid will only play the first one in the list.

Personally I hate having to target my droid to recharge him during long gigs. It always happens when I'm playing the Nalargon.
