The quests were not ALL nooob quests....but 3 of 7 were. Also another 3 of 7 were all a 2nd template.
1- Audition...play specific songs and flos on request.
2- Noob 1...get 10 ppl to listen to you
3- Performance 1...ask audience what they want and play and try to get a ranking. You get 180 secs to chat up the audience.
4- Noob 2...get 20 ppl to listen to you
5- Performance 2....same as 3...longer performance higher ranking needed...less time to chat up audience (120 seconds)
6- Noob 3....get 30 ppl to listen to you
7- Final performance...same as 5...even longer...even higher needed...60 secs to ask audience.

What did they do, put a looping macro into their coding?
Hmmm, repeat tasks - less time to do it. Repeat tasks - more people to entertain.
What amazing creativity and riveting content. The combat folks get the Death Watch Bunker and the Corellian Corvette. We get the same 2 "quests" copied and pasted again and again. I guess that's a choice...
we aer teh winner
What?
You're our dev and you didn't write these????
I was gonna send you a nasty note about it too. 8)

Didn't you know? As soon as I was made Musician Dev Pro Tempore they immediately made me start working on the code for Chef. I mean, it only makes sense...

get 30 people to watch you?
at the same time or total?
and you only have like 5 min to do it?
I don't remember the last time I had 30 people around who could watch me let alone watching only me and all at the same time.
At least it does not take 30 min to finish and pay 200 credits.
30 people total....and you can do it over a month if you want.

To 'chat up' the audience? Are we musicians or are we comedians? I thought we were here to play music, not to spend our time chattering.
No, you don't have to /conv with the NPC audience if you don't want to, Beery. Not at all.
But... since what you're trying to do in the quest is gain a high enough audience approval rating to 'succeed', and as some of those audience members will tell you what songs/dances and flourishes they hope to hear/see (and sometimes what they really don't want to see), it can behoove you to canvass the crowd. Or, you can always just play the music you want and hope that the approval rating goes highenough. If it doesn't, you can always try again 24 hours later.
Of course, the feedback you'll get is along the lines of "Do flourish 7", and if you do flourish 7, your approval rating goes up.
No, I don't really think that these Entertainer Quests are what I'd call satisfying game play. Right now, to me they're more of a hurdle to go through to get a new song and dance. I'm spending some time collecting my thoughts on how these quests (or future ones)might be improved, but for now... this is what we have coming.
