Thread: How does one stop your toon from going AFK?

On behalf of crafters, I am trying to find another answer besides removing the /ui action toolbarSlot macro command. I am not interested in AFK performing. But I heard that there is a way to make it so that your toon doesn't go AFK (doesn't get the lil title above their head). If there is a simple way to stop that, then all you'd have to do is shorten the LD to 10 mins after AFK and problem is solved without removing anything from the game.

there are plenty of ways.... there's a checkbox in the options menu or you can do any action (such as sitting, standing, or even emotes I believe). Probably more, I'm always at the keyboard though so I'm not too familiar with them.

hmm, I"ll need to see. I had a surveying macro that had me standing and sitting all the time and it still marked me as AFK...

maybe it does make you afk... I know it will keep you from being logged out though.

call the macro afk
/say 
/pause 60;
/macro afk;
this will smile every 60 seconds at your target and keep you online without the AFK

Go into the Options Menu (Ctrl-O), click the AFK button, uncheck the "Enable Auto-AFK" box at the top. No more AFK tag.

Ya but in a cantina this will earn you an /addignore...least from me.../pause 500 or something on the other hand is dealable. This method I find is useful for not going LD after inactive for so long. Just turn off auto-afk otherwise to prevent the tag...
