No, but you could get a droid with playback and effects. R3's will havesix slots. I have a model with one playback module, and five fx. I recently had a DE make me one with five playback modules, and 1 FX (foam, baby).

I have one with 5 fxand 1 playback too.....but I find that when I want to go to another song and have the droid with me, I have to delete and record, then I can play. So have you found the 5 playback beneficial? I have been thinking about going 3 and 3 myself.

I'm not too big a fan of the effects droids myself, but I wanted to share that my R3 with 6 playback modules has been invaluable to me. I keep it trained on the bandfill on the 6 songs I've been playing the most, and it's very infrequent that I have to re-train it. It's great when I'm putting on a one-man-one-droid show to be able to just /change to get to my next song rather than pause, wait 15 seconds, play music for 30 seconds, pause again and wait 15 seconds, then finally join in with the droid in the show.
I've even bought a second droid with 6 playback modules, to handle various random instruments I want on backup besides the bandfill. I'll see how its trained songs evolve

Well since my Droid is pretty new, i hadn't used it much, but I have quite a bit now and I must say that the playback is almost a neccessity if you are in a lonely cantina and you want to play, and sound really good, to your customers, because it allows you the droid to /changesong with you. thank you for the suggestions folks. I am going to be ordering at least a 5 playback droid ASAP

Yeah you can only have one out at a time. I have several versions of the R3 in my datapad. An all FX module, which I really don't use much anymore. An all Music module R3, which is good for practice and writing performances. And an R3 with 3 and 3, this is what I use mainly in the cantinas. I tend to only do 2 or 3 diffrent songs and only use 3 of the lighting effects. It does make for a nice show and allow a bit of variety on the fly without having to stop to program the droid. Hope that helps.
