I've kind of held off posting in this forum, just because I hold a deep respect for some of the older musicians of Ahazi, such as FF and Muria *waves*.... buuut I think I'll ramble this time.

I provide a public buff service. My buffs are quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. My main attraction however, is that I am available 99% of the time. As I said, and as I state in my bio, my service is public, but not free. I'm able to monitor the service off and on, and the ones I find skipping the bill go right to the ignore list, no skin off my teeth. I've built up quite a clientel on Dathomir, and alot of them are great people whom I consider friends now. The provide a great service in return to me by reporting any problems or abusers, which I really appreciate. I've finally started making some decent money per week, but it's mattress change compared to what a good Elite can bring in on Dath in one buff session (on my marrrvellous buffs mind you . If anything, it does help pay the bills, and that's also very much appreciated.

Of course I'm going to defend bots, well, because guess what...I am one! One of the best I would like to say, if there is such a thing...er at least one of the most reliable. I'm not naive to the "eeeevillls" a buffbot brings to the playing field...about how we prevent the ATK entertainer from making a decent living, blah blah, how our spam is sooo annoying, blah blah, about how we're ruining the entire profession(s), blah, etc.... I have some personal perspectives on how the ATK can earn a decent living coexisting with bots. The bottom line however, is that these are socially oriented professions, something most bots cannot take advantage of. I would like to see a compromise between bots and lives, something along the lines of better or faster enhancements for lives, or new songs or specials that have some kind of random delays which need to performed in sequence that throw off macroing (an attempt to repeat the command before the delay passed would just cancel the original command). Hell, at least it would give everyone something new to tinker with.

You know, it's funny, I was banished once from Mos Oasis for botting...(thanks FFWB)lol! It actually kind of peeved me because I was just there for private use, but hey, I can respect that. Initially I thought about just adding any FFWB members I seen to my ignore list, but that wouldn't be nice, and I really am generally a nice guy by nature. I could swear I've seen some of their members on Dath getting buffs from me from time to time, then again, I see so many people pass through I could be wrong I guess. Ahh but the irony, the irony! *laughs* (I really don't care, seriously, lol) Actually, after the smoke from all this clears, I'd be honored to jam sometime/somewhere with you guys! (Mur, FF)

To all the people that know me on Ahazi *waves to the SS clan, and countless others*, thank you guys so much for the business, support, and friendship. You guys are great, you really are. If there is any possible way I can legally run the service after the Publish, I will do it. You can bank on that. And if I can't, well, all you honorable ATK entertainers, you've won now haven't you? You've cried out about the tyranny of bots and have banished us from your righteous cantinas! Yay! Man, I may shed a tear. *coughs* Yes.

Ah and ye when the battle was fought and won, there came a resounding prophecy from somewhere in the direction of the Dathomir system...:

'One lone broken down bot musician shalt wander into thine crowded cantinas at peaketh times daily, and shalt deliver thine huddled masses from such oppressiveness dubbed as 'tipping' for mind buffs!' -and so it was written...

Oh, this may tickle my cookie after all...*maniacal laughter*

And who is this CSR I hear of giving a bot a badge?! Where can I find this guy anyway? Sheesh, I want a freakin' badge! Frannie, you get a load of this? *laughs* Actually, I think he's the one who deserves the badge, since that took some decent nuggets to pull off...

Ah, if this was an advertisement for my service, which it is most certainly not, then I would tell you to come and experience some of my most excellent buffs, which I will most certainly not. *wink* Fran's pretttty darn sexy to watch too! *cough* In any case, support KILL your local bot(s)!

Also, you forgot to thank the Academy, your parents, God, your agent, your manager, your production company, the good folks at McDonald's,the guy who sent you the email so that you could copy and paste his macro and do no work in order to do no work, and your fans.

This seems more like a waste of forum space to just say hi to friends and spite live entertainers - you can do that in-game all you like. If you're trying to incite a flame war, well - please just go away. There's been too many recently.

I think the purpose of my post was to give bot supporters a little piece of mind. I wanted to point out that I am certainly not afraid of posting here and standing up for the service I run and others like it. Honestly, I was hoping for some feedback from pro-bot folks, but I see that I stand alone in front of the firing squad(s)...*laughs* That is fine.

Judging by your post count, it's obvious you were invited by Logain to defend him.

The fact of the matter is, we aren't here to serve you. We're a convenient service for you. We're not going to accomodate to your every need, and we shouldn't. Just like you, we may have better things to be doing.

You do konw that ATK buffs are better, correct? You get a buff from me, and compare it to Logains. You'll see a BIG difference. Too bad you're on Ahazi. If you were on Starsider, I would show you what a real buff is.

And the whole Buff bot issue isn't our fault. Sorry, but a lot of us don't want to be stuck in afk and spam hell, so we leave cantinas. Believe me, after publish 10, you'll see a lot more Master Musicians, including myself, in cantinas, actively buffing. BTW, I'm on Starsider, and buff for free, ATK.
