Just a small thing really, but Tiggs has just posted the following on the Squad Leader forum:
"Just popping in to say hello to all of the SL's! I have been reading your forum and I see many negative threads. So I want to ask you what is it about Squad Leader that attracted you to make one? And what is your motivation to continue with thisprofession? Be nice in your replies "
So I wonder when we can expect the same post - she wouldn't even have to change the wording, just substitute Squad Leader for musician, and voila! the exact kind of Dev post we haven't had since... well, ever.
Or wait, maybe we aren't negative enough to attract the Dev's attention? Hmm, that might be it I guess - so come on, everybody be as negative as you can!!

She's made a couple similar posts elsewhere, e.g., in the Chef and Core Systems Forums. Let's hope she makes it here too.

The squad leaders are still in stage 3.
The stages of anger go:
1) Shock
2) Denial
3) Anger
4) Depression
5) Apathy
We entertainers are already on step 5. We're way beyond anger and shouting. We just figure at this point nothing will ever be done, so we either deal with it in an apathetic way or leave for greener pastures.
Ya know, I started this post meaning for it to be humorous, but now I'm struck by how accurate it probably is.

We entertainers are already on step 5. We're way beyond anger and shouting. We just figure at this point nothing will ever be done, so we either deal with it in an apathetic way or leave for greener pastures.

Well, I'm stuck at #3. Those times that I've moved beyond #3, I hit the cancel button. I'm stubborn that way.
I'm stubborn that way.But, as NJ pointed out, Tiggs is going through every profession asking them what they feel their main issue is. She's doing it alphabetically, and goes through 3 professions every 2 or 3 weeks or so. (She actually did 4 this week, including Core Systems.) Dancer is being looked at by Tiggs right now, so those dancers in here (even the novices) go in that dancer forum and say your peace. 
I'm assuming she'll continue doing this, so she'll get to Musician eventually. As I said, she's going alphabetically.

Of course, I don't begrudge the "extra" attention the SL's got from Tiggs. They're an often forgotten profession like we are, and deserve some attention.

I'm already crafting my reply for when she hits Musicians! But I'll have to go copy down my Bria friend's list in order to do so... and the Chillastra one... and the Starsider... TestCenter... Flurry... good God!! They are multipling!!!

I'm definitely in stage 4. Vascillating between 3 and 5, but mostly on 4. /sigh

(the nearly empty room echos slightly as those few left say "Hi Oh-Orb")
Someone that seems to be leading the group nods at the chalk board and tells me that tonight they are talking about the 5 steps of being an entertainer. Then comes the question... Where do I think I'm at on the list.

Yes, exactly - I know that she has started doing those "Getting to know your profession" posts and is proceeding alphabetically. And like someone else has stated, I have already formulated my response at leats in my mind, maybe I'll even write it down on the weekend and store it until she finally posts it.
Not that I think it will make any difference, of course 
Andmy post also wasn't meant to point the finger at any other profession - entertainers are not the only abandoned ones out there. In fact, almost everyone apart from Jedi has been pretty much ignored by the Devs in recent months, it's just that us Entertainers have never really been officially acknowledged as being paying and therefore important customers. And that rankles me - a lot. But that's not the fault of any other prfession. Certainly SL's and smugglers, and quite a few others deserve all the Dev attention they can get

i hear you... and the broken entertainer quest thing... just pushed me to level 5.
