Thread: Bug in Quest? Or did i do something wrong?

Ok. So i found out about them finally putting in our quests (w/o telling us in patch notes, heard by word of mouth) and head to theed theatre. Find the manager, talk to her. She said to contact her when i could audition. I equipped a mand then talked to her again. She said i have 30 seconds to get on stage. I walk on over... then BOOM! I stepped on stage, saw the judges, walked towards the centre of stage then i get 'FAILURE - You left stage before audition was over'. Something like that. Is this a bug or did i do something wrong? I mean, i was walking from the backstage entrance to the centre of the stage.

Yeah, i have heard reports of this.
Get too close to the edge of the stage and it bugs out

Sounds like the original poster wasn't close to the edge of the stage, though. Did you linger by the edge at all?

I was jsut waiting the other 6 or so hours until the 24 hours are gone. I'm scared its going to say i auto-failed again. i was walking from the backstage door towards the judge table and then turned to go in front of the table (so deeper into the stage). I was so confused 'cause i don't think i was even near the edge of the stage. If it happens again i might submit a ticket.

Send in a /bug anyway. There might be a few others who haven't visited the forumsand adding your info helps the devs find the bug. Give them as much detail as possible - that is:
Location (Theed theatre will do)
Time (with timezone)
Exact Details, use full sentances to describe what happened. If you saw anything odd before the fail (i.e. a warp) that'll be important. Also mention how long things took - did you walk on 5 seconds later or 25 seconds later?
The more /bug's (nb not a CSR ticket that goes to completely the wrong people - just type /bug and enter in the ui window) that get entered the more it helps.

I'll send in a bug report. I tried submitting a ticket but it wouldn't let me. I'd go to 'add ticket' and the drop down list said to search knowledgebase first, which i did, but it still wouldn't let me select my problem type or write in the box. I got frusterated so i just logged out.

I'm starting to think they want ppl to fail this so we get the impression gee, it was hard... Its NPC abuse pure and simple. This whole quest is an embarrassment.
