Hello,

First let me apologize if this is the wrong place to post this but, I felt that since it pertains to Dancers, Musicians, Image Designers, and Entertainers directly, that I should post in the profession forums for the best exposure.

As the post states, I am doing Corvette runs for anyone that might not otherwise be able to do the vette. Anyone who wants the badges for the following, all you need is the ticket:

1. Imperial Destroy Mission

2. Imperial Rescue Mission

3. Neutral Destroy Mission

4. Neutral Rescue Mission

You don't need any combat skills at all but I would definately recomend that you get a full doctor buff and some mind enhancements if possible because getting off the vette will expose you to some fire. All that is required is that you get the ticket for the corvette. Here is a guideline for the possible ticket locations:

Imperial Destroy Mission

Start Point:Lt. Velso: Emperor’s retreat, Naboo (2405, -3967)

Possible Ticket Locations:

1st - The codes in anchorhead (134, -5349) are found in a container next to the reb recruiter in the cantina.

2nd - Dantooine - The Dantooine Location is the Janta Stronghold (7197, -4090). Find the drum near the bottom of the cave. It is in the only item that isn't a mag-seal container. it is also next to a mag-seal container

3rd - Erran Sif (2143, -5649) on Talus one level on a table "I had to search, it was directly in front of me as I came into the second room"

Imperial Rescue Mission

Start Point: Colonel Darkstone: Tatooine, Imperial Oasis (-5321 2702)

Possible Ticket Locations:

1st - Droid Engineer Cave: South face of volcano on Lok, POI. When you enter type /target storage and the container will be selected, it's at the bottom of the cave. This can be tough if you are alone, make sure you are buffed for this. Take the left branch and burst past all the droidekas and keep the storage container selected. Search it and run.

2nd - Rogue Corsec Base: Corellia, (5200 1600) Its in the smaller multilevel building again at the very bottom. Type /target storage to select.

3rd - Woolamander Palace: Yavin, POI. Once inside go right and sneak past woolamanders in the entrance chamber. You're looking for a small container; its along the right wall as you walk in near the harrowers (which deathblow FYI).

Neutral (Jabba) Destroy Mission:

Start Point: Bruce McBrain: Jabba's Palace, Tatooine Entrance area (-580 –6220)

Possible Ticket Locations:

1st - Maulers Stronghold on Naboo (POI)

2nd - Rogue CorSec Base (POI)

3rd - Dath Nightsister Slave Camp (POI) - You don't have to go all the way down. When you enter the cave, in the first large open area if you look at the overhead map (Ctrl+M) you will see a small cove on one side. There is a container there, do a search on it and get out.

Neutral (Jabba) Rescue Mission:

Start Point: Yondalla: Wayfar, Tatooine Inside Cantina (-5150 -6588)

Possible Ticket Locations:

1st - Kahmurra Bio-Genitics Lab (POI) on Talus - In Rusty Container near the bottom.

2nd - Lord Nyax Hideout (POI) on Corellia - In Bookcase before you get to Lord Nyax's room

3rd - Korga Cave (POI) onEndor -Turn right at the fork, andthe container is all the way in the back.

Some helpful tips when looking for tickets:

1. Get a buff before you go out. Some of these tickets are located in rough places. Most of the time when you show up someone else has already been there and killed everything, but if you have no combat skills and you happen to find that one POI that hasn't been swept out, you could have some trouble on your hands.

2. There will always be a document to loot. It may be the wrong one but there will always be SOMETHING to loot. It is also very important that the item you look in has the searchoption when you bring up the radial menu on it. If it just says "open" its not the container your looking for, the container your looking for will always have "search" as an option.

3. The items you need to seach vary. Sometimes its a rusty container, sometimes an armoire or a desktop. As long as you remember to look for the "seach" option you can't go wrong.

4. You don't have to go to all 3 locations for each ticket. You are looking for a specific document for the different mission types, they are:

Imperial & Neutral Destroy Missions:

For these missionsyou needthe Corsec Destruction Sequence

Imperial & Neutral Rescue Missions:

For these missions you need the Prisoner Transfer Orders

5. Although you don't need to go to all three locations, looting all the documents does offer some reward. For the neutral missions each of the incorrect documents that you turn in you get some credits. Usualy not very many, (about 400 or so) not even worth the price of the shuttle to get there. If you do either of the Imperial missions, then you get 100 faction points for each of the incorrect documents that you turn in. Again, probably not worth the price of the shuttle to get there, but if you already had to go somewhere and have the extra documents its kinda nice.

6. Once you have theright document return to the person you started the mission with. Make sure you turn in the incorrect documents first tobe sure you get the reward, then turn in the correct document and the NPC will give you the Corvette Travel Authorization ticket.

7. You can only carry one Travel Authorizationticket for the Corvette at a time.

FACTS ABOUT THIS OFFER & THE CORVETTE TRIP:

1. As the ticket holder, not only are you going to get the badge for completing the mission, but you also get the AV-21 Schematic when you return to the NPC that you started the mission with.

2. This trip is guaranteed by me, there have been instances when we have entered the vette only to find that it is bugged out and the spawn rates are wrong and the mobs are attacking each other and its just about impossible to complete. In a case like this we would leave the vette and my guildmates and I would provide a return trip ticket until you received the badge. It has never taken more than 2 trips and the bug rate is about 1 in every 15-20 trips. So usualy there is no problems.

3. Average trip time is about 10-15 minutes but possibly up in the 40-45 minute range depending on the mission and spawn rates.

4. There is no charge for this trip. All you have to provide is the ticket for whatever badge you want out of the 4 listed.

5. No combat skills are required, you will spend the entire trip in the staging area of the vette. As long as you have a buff the exit at the end should be no problem.

6. I can do this for anyone who wants a badge, but each person must provide a ticket for each badge they wish to aquire. No groups on one ticket.

WHAT I GET OUT OF THIS:

A) All the xp from the mobs, I am grinding jedi xp and its no secret, I'd much rather have a captive audience then compete with all the other grinders at the popular grinding spots.

B) I get to keep anything I loot off a body or in a container on the ship while completing the mission. If there are any weapons, spices, or trinkets you would like from the loot, just ask and I may be able to get you one.

C) A warm fuzzy feeling for helping people get the badges, did I mention loot, oh yeah and a warm FUZZY FEELING!!!!

Any questions? Just drop me an e-mail or a tell in-game, I am on the Eclipse server on Naboo.

Thanks for reading and good luck with your search,

JSlayer

Wow, looks like you spent a lot of time planning this post. One small question, how many guesses do we get to figure out which server you're on?

Wow, very cool!

Great post, not only for the charity aspect of it, but it's very informative about getting to the Corvette missions, too

Very kind of you to offer this!

JSlayer, it's very kind of you to offer! I hope anyone on Eclipse who wants the badges takes you up on it.

Just thought I'd add a tidbit, for when you go to do you Knight Trials (if you do) and you need to kill 4 Rear Admirals: my guild had it down to 6 minutes a trip to do so. If you know the way to the spots to open doors and just bull through on Synthsteak, you can get in and out really fast. As long as you got the ticket up there on the Assassination mission, you even get the schematic and badge on the way out. You do have to be conscious (i.e. not incapped) when the Rear Admiral dies.

It helps if you're peaced when you go up, so you don't auto-attack back if something aggros on you.

While I'm not a Jedi and can't kill everything on the ship to clear a path, I would be more than happy to try and work with any Starsider non-combatant who'd like to get either the Imperial or Neutral Destroy badges ona run&pray method. Since I can't kill all the mobs, and you can't rescue the prisoners if you're locked in combat, those are kinda out. But I have gone up there many a time to look for AV-21 power plants, so I'm pretty familiar with the process. Just please let me know ahead of time that you'd like to go up so we can make arrangements.

I've helped 11 people get the badges since this post. I'm really glad this is helping so many people get glowy.

Hehe, I just had a few interesting experiences with the corvette.
I'd been being brought up by our resident Vette expert on Tempest, under a similar deal (in my case, I was only interested in grabbing a powerplant), and he'd had a very dry spell in terms of the loot. Approximately 10 runs with no PPs.
Then Friday night I went along to the vette with a group, many of which hadn't been before, and certainly not the experts who run through and finish in 5 minutes. We went up, and started trying to kill things, and died many times (the entire group). We did eventually finish, and the group ended up getting a powerplant, go figure. Lots of fun, much different than just sitting in the entrance waiting to run to the escape pod. While I don't want to take away from your business, JSlayer, I would in fact recommend that people give it a try sometime, as long as you go with the expectations: you will die a lot, you are going to have fun and not to beat it and be uber, you probably will not make it. As long as you go with those expectations, it's fun because it's a completely new experience (btw, don't forget to leave any decayable items at home.. you don't want your wardrobes being destroyed up there).
Anywho, since I had fun Friday, and I was on TC-Bria for some other random reason, I decided 'hey, why not pick up something better than just my TKM skills and try the vette out on here!' So I made my master fencer/rifleman, got my buffs and armor and stims from the froggy, and headed on out to Jabba's. Brought a friend with me, and read the guide this time before I went. Turns out trying to fight everything in sight is probably not the best means for success . So this time I just ran, and didn't engage anyone, and we managed through with barely a scratch. Wow, what a difference it made hehe.
Anyways, very cool thing you're doing . Glad you're helping people out and enjoying it too.
